This policy is issued by 1001733394 ONTARIO INC. o/a VisAware (“VisAware,” “we,” “us”), the organization responsible for personal information collected through the VisAware websites, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). VisAware is the product name.

What we collect and why

We collect account data (name, email), device and location data when you enable sharing or when your organization requires sharing while on duty, usage logs, and billing information for the Team Leader who pays for the organization. We use this information to operate the Service, including team awareness, accounts, and subscriptions. We do not sell personal information. Location is for team awareness while on duty.

VisAware is not 9-1-1 or official dispatch.

Payments

Subscriptions are billed in CAD on visaware.app through Stripe. The Team Leader chooses a plan and completes Stripe Checkout. Checkout collects a payment method to start the 14-day trial. Checkout applies 15% off the first 3 months on a monthly plan. On a yearly plan, the first year is 15% off, then full price. After the trial, that payment method is billed on the first bill date unless the Team Leader cancels the subscription first in the Stripe Customer Portal (Billing → Manage subscription on visaware.app). If you cancel or a bill goes unpaid, we keep your map and app data for 14 days. That retention window is separate from the 14-day trial.

iOS App Store and Google Play builds are sign-in clients. They do not sell subscriptions and do not use Apple or Google in-app purchase. Billing stays on the website.

Service providers

Stripe is our payment processor. Stripe collects the payment method used for the trial and later subscription charges. We do not store full card numbers on VisAware servers. Maps may use third-party or open data, including OpenStreetMap. We also use providers to host the Service and send email.

Delete your account

You can delete your account in the app from Profile. You can also read what is removed and what stays, or send a request if you cannot sign in, at visaware.app/delete-account.
